Resumen

Set in the scrapyards of French-speaking Switzerland, Dog of the Junkyard tells the story of a young man named Simon (Robin Vallon) who is struggling to find his place in the world. Simon lives with his mother, Chantal (Patricia Mazuy), in a small town. He has no job and no prospects, and he spends his days hanging out with his friends and drinking. One day, Simon meets a young woman named Louise (Clara Gostynski) who is also from a working-class background. Louise is intelligent and ambitious, and she is determined to escape the scrapyards. Simon and Louise fall in love, and they decide to leave the scrapyards together. They move to Geneva, where Simon gets a job as a security guard and Louise starts studying at university.
