Resumen
Widower veterinarian Eric Kelton waved over a year his assistant's urging to date again, except some public events, and frequently visits his aunt Maggie Webster -who took him in as young orphan- in the seniors center. Hastily picking up a plant as gift for her after hours, he meets first of several times the Seeing Green Flower shop keeper Phoebe Saunder, whose instant crush on him, encouraged by her business partner, is tempered by her wrong assumption he has a fiancee, which gets cleared-up as they meet again, mainly engaging in social affairs, as she needs to replace her obsessive dedication to the neighborhood tradition of Christmas decorations constituting a Candy Cane Lane, as the organizing mayor moves away and several neighbors wanted out.—KGF Vissers
