Resumen
In overwhelming debt, young Jeetu jumps in the ocean to drown himself so life insurance money can reimburse his creditors. He is rescued by two explosively idiotic, out-of-area fishermen (boat-owner Gundya and deckhand Bandya) who believe him deaf and stupid, which Jeetu elects not to contradict. In debt themselves, their boat is taken; to get it back Gundya turns over both Jeetu (whom they call Jabba) and deckhand Bandya as indentured servants to their money-lender, Prabhart Singh Chauhan. In his household, Jeetu meets Shruti, a mute girl in the family. They slowly begin to fall in love with each other, but how is Jeetu to admit he's been deceiving everyone about his false muteness and idiocy? Plus there's Pooja, a young girl back in his village who has been promised to him since childhood and who has taken on the guise of his widow.—statmanjeff
