Resumen
Jobless stenography student Donatella finds a handbag crammed with vital documents and returns it to its rightful owner: a wealthy American lady living in a palatial mansion in Rome. Touched by the young woman's honesty, the madame hires Donatella as her secretary to manage the correspondence and the lady's villa during her six-week absence in New York for business. As charming Donatella tastes a hearty slice of the good life, a chance encounter with handsome Maurizio, an elegant friend of the lady, leads to an innocent relationship right under the nose of her fiancé Guido.
