Resumen
Elbow Grease is an authentic southern romantic comedy that embodies everyday life in turn of the (20th) century, South Carolina. It is an honest and sincere approach to the humor and craziness revolving around the Barnes family as they come to terms with each other. Billy Barnes, a hard-working blue collar family provider has always managed to give his wife, Ellie, and their four children the basic essentials of everyday living. But, Billy's long working hours leaves Ellie feeling neglected and lonely. Ellie is a loving, faithful wife and mother. But the day-to-day routine of taking care of a husband, teenage son, tween daughter and their youngest -- twin boys Timmy and Jimmy -- has left Ellie feeling vulnerable to the human longings for attention from her man, just like the kind of attention her best friend Ann gets from her husband Curt. Billy and Ellie's marriage may be on the rocks, but its not until Billy's brother Randy arrives unexpectedly, that those rocks begin to slide into hilarious chaos that will eventually not only affect the Barnes family and their quiet neighbor, Gordon, but also the entire town of Guppie as the town prepares for its annual festival.
