Resumen
In peasant town Pineview, Will Nash manages the pear farm which for generations is owned by the Gilson family. The parents living oversees, heiress Luna Gilson, a widowed surgeon in Seattle West Hospital up for promotion, realizes she neglected her kid son Andy (eight) decides to take him there for a weekend of 'family quality time', although he had preferred some urban type of fun together. Despite her dumb, hostile first incursions, Will proves a great guide, host and father figure for Andy. He's actually a scientific horticulture expert whose family farm went belly up in the depression and looking to start another. The Gilsons instructed him to sell, but as Andy bonds with the place and both with Will, Luna re-appreciates her roots and considers moving back as his bride.—KGF Vissers
