Resumen
In Amity Island, Sean Brody is the Chief of Police and soon will marry Tiffany. One night, Sean is summoned to remove a wood pillar from a buoy and is murdered by a great white shark. His mother, Ellen Brody, believes that the shark is seeking revenge against her family since her husband and son have been killed by a white shark. Michael Brody, who is presently married with the artist Carla Brody and with a daughter, Thea, and living in Bahamas, invites his mother to stay with his family. They fly home with the pilot Hoagie, where Michael is researching snails to complete his PhD with his friend Jake. Ellen is still obsessed with the white shark, and when Michael and Jake find that there is one in the area, they use a GPS device to track it.
