Resumen

On a stormy night, a robin's nest is blown away in gusty winds and its eggs rolls down the tree, travels through the jungle and hatches in front of house of a family of mice. The malicious cat (Gillian Anderson) was about to attack when Dad mouse brought the new Hatchling in and saved its life.The robin bird named Robin (Bronte Carmichael) grows up from being raised by a family of mice (Dad (Adeel Akhtar) & brothers Dink (Amira Macey-Michael), Flynn (Endeavour Clutterbuck), Pip (Tom Pegler) & Flin (Megan Harris)). Robin grows up to be a mouse and not a bird. Her differences become more apparent every time they try to sneak into a Who-Man's (human's) house. The mouse are always looking for small portions of stale food, while Robin wants to steal a whole sandwich that she can eat in luxury. The time she tries to be bold and steal a sandwich, she makes too much and noise and attracts the attention of a female who-man, who screams at the sight of a mouse in her kitchen. By experience the mice know that the house will now be protected against them (traps or cats) and cross it off their map. Many such houses are crossed out similarly. The family has very little food to sustain themselves and the kids blame Robin for their misfortune.Robin ventures out at night, alone, to get some food from the last house, which is not crossed out yet. She is attacked by a cat, and she runs away. She meets a Magpie (Richard E. Grant), who says Robin is a bird and can fly away. Magpie lives next to a who-man house and says they always have loads of food due to the magic shiny wishing star (the star on top of a Christmas tree). With the star the Who-Mans wish for "things" that make them happy.Now, she sets off on a daring heist to steal a shiny star and to prove to her family, and a malicious cat, that she can be a really good mouse. Magpie and Robin break into the Who-Man house, but both are bad sneakers and make a lot of noise, waking up the Who-man lady. Robin is about to be captured, when goaded by Magpie, she starts flapping her wings and learns to fly. She escapes with the magic star. But she only manages to crash into the outhouse where the malicious cat stays. The cat attacks Robin, but Magpie comes to the rescue and manages to set fire to the outhouse. The Magpie and Robin escape the cat.Robin wishes that she wasn't a bird, but a real mouse. She is disappointed when the next day, the wish doesn't come true. The next morning Robin's family comes looking for her. They all hide in the Magpie's house when the cat attacks. The cat breaks into the house and is about to kill everyone when the Robin starts singing. She attracts the cat's attention and lures it outside. On the weak branch, the cat falls into the water stream below when the branch breaks, and the Robin flies away. Robin finally accepts that she is a bird and sucks at sneaking. She cannot be a great mouse. Going forward, Robin uses her sneakiness to attract attention to herself, while the others go in and steal the bread crumbs.
