In sweltering 1937 New Orleans, Louisiana, after witnessing first-hand the primitive surgical conditions of his financially hard-pressed state institution, brilliant young neurosurgeon Dr Cukrowicz receives an unexpected invitation. As grieving Mrs Violet Venable, an aging wealthy widow who is one of the city's wealthiest benefactors, promises to contribute a hefty amount of money to the institution, Dr Cukrowicz finds himself confronted with a grave, pressing dilemma: perform a lobotomy on her committed niece Catherine Holly, or lose a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to save the state hospital. 4. ¿Cómo ver las películas y series?
