Resumen
Richard Harris is an undercover detective employed by the coal mine owners police department to ferret out members of a radical and violent pro-miners group called 'The Molly Maguires'. Harris shows up in town and is put to work in the mine. He is distrusted and tested by the Mollies leader Sean Connery and eventually sworn into their group because of his toughness. Harris is torn between improving his lot in life and his growing respect for the miners. He becomes sympathetic to the miners dangerous and miserable life. His mission is further complicated by his growing love for the daughter of a retired miner in whose house he is living. She (Samantha Eggar) tries to show him the good side of human nature and steer him towards a better life. Harris is a man torn between doing the right thing and getting a chance to rise up in life by betraying the men he has come to befriend.

4. ¿Cómo ver las películas y series?
